In 2005 as a joint venture between Tharwa petroleum company, a subsidiary of the Egyptian ministry of petroleum and mineral resources and china’s Sinopec star petroleum company where Sinotharwa served the oil & gas industry since then and up till now

Sinotharwa started with u$ 18 million capital that were equally shared between conies share holder . in 2007 the company capital had been raised to u$ 40 million and the Egyptian natural gas holding company ( e-gas )entered into the joint venture. by the end of 2008, it reaches to u$ 80 million and in 2020, Sinotharwa total capital investment reached u$ 732 million.
